Preferences, memory, and storage
Choose themes and fonts, edit memory, and locate your files.
Preferences
Select light, dark, or system mode. Browse themes to view the full gallery. Adjust text size and choose fonts separately for headers, prose, and records. Keyboard focus and enabled switches use the current theme.
Browser language
Browser language sets the language of the Browser tab’s menus and error pages, and the language sites receive first. The installer includes 15 languages. Choose another to download it once, then restart muniment to use it. Browser search beside it chooses the engine the address bar searches with: Google, Brave Search, DuckDuckGo, Bing, or Startpage.
Profile and memory
Edit your name, work, and response instructions in Profile & Memory. Save the profile to use it in new replies. Add facts with a source. Search appears when memories exist. Deleted memories can be restored.
Storage
The workspace folder holds memory, agents, projects, and session files. Managed skills and plugins live under ~/.muniment. Use Open extension folder to inspect installed packages. Changing the workspace folder does not move managed packages.
Voice
The desktop voice stack runs on the device. Install the voice resources from the speech controls, choose the microphone, and use the configured shortcut. Dictation inserts text into the composer. Read the text before sending it.
