Install
The local app installs from one download per platform with no account. Cloud services form phase two. Start with the open source desktop and your own provider accounts.
Download for macOS, Windows, or Linux. Read the desktop setup guide after installation.
Windows deployment
Signed Windows release packages are available: MSI per user, MSI per machine, and NSIS per user.
Windows installation covers how to install, verify, upgrade, or remove the per-user MSI, per-machine MSI, and per-user NSIS packages.
macOS deployment
macOS installation: installation, first launch, and removal.
The macOS pkg release is available. It requires macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon or Intel. muniment signs it with a Developer ID and notarizes it with Apple.
Linux deployment
Linux installation: Ubuntu, Debian, AppImage, and Omarchy.
The Linux deb and AppImage release packages are available.
On Ubuntu, install the .deb package. Its installer configures the Chromium sandbox helper. The AppImage also uses that helper on Ubuntu.
The AppImage requires FUSE and X11. On hosts such as Omarchy that allow user namespaces, it runs directly.
