Set up your workspace, connect an account, and send your first message.

## Choose a workspace

Open muniment and choose a workspace folder. The local desktop needs no Muniment account. Keep project files in folders you control. Settings → Storage shows your workspace and opens managed extension storage.

## Connect your first account

Open Settings → Models & decisions → Accounts. Choose Connect account and a provider. Use a supported subscription sign-in, an API key, or a local model endpoint. Credentials stay on your device. Your provider sets access and usage limits.

## Send your first message

Choose a model in the composer, type a request, and press Enter. Shift+Enter inserts a new line. The reply shows its actions and model receipt. Use Stop to end a reply. Review a failed request before retrying because earlier actions can run again.

## Make it your workspace

Open the files, terminal, or browser panel beside the chat. Add tools in Settings → Extend. Use Preferences to choose a theme, text size, and separate fonts for headers, prose, and records.
